Put a 1 square high priortiry stockpile with your most common meal. That inside airlock space will stay refigerated cool, and everyone that wants a meal won't have to enter the freezer and let the cold air out.

Designate the middle (2x2) of this section as no roof/remove roof. At each corner of the section place a wall.By setting a lower temperature to begin with, you won't have a freezer full of rotting food by the time the power comes back on.
